The
Western Program continues to hold monthly teas or open
houses at either Peabody or
Patterson Place
to foster a sense of community in the Western tradition.
In December, residents of Peabody and guests were invited
by faculty and staff to gather therein the front parlor to
enjoy homemade holiday treats. Director Nik Money
surprised retiring WCAA Director Judy Waldron by
presenting her with a framed Western print.
Ernst
Nature Theatre was the setting for a performance in
November by the Jingiu Opera from
Taiwan
National
College
of the Performing Arts, sponsored by the
Ruth
Rosenberg Marder ['49]
Children's Theatre Outreach fund. Local schoolchildren enjoyed the
experience of storytelling through traditional Chinese
theater.
