Though Jimi
has produced a wide range of traditional work, including
magazine covers and content, sophisticated wedding
photography, professional studio work, documentaries, and
product photography, he has made his reputation as a
storyteller with film. He has won numerous awards for his
work, which one art critic -- citing his humanistic
portrayals -- has compared to Edward Steichen's iconic
exhibit and book, The Family of Man. Believing that "photographers are
communicators," Jimi sees the art of photography as a
"byproduct of curiosity." His has led him all
over the world and into the hearts and souls of his
subjects. http://www.jimiallen.com
