Reunion
2011, June 17-19
Spotlight Western beamed down on Reunion 2011 and found
every star! You caught up with each other over Tuffy's
toasted rolls in the Lodge, you mingled with our Miami and
Western Program guests on Clawson patio, shone onstage or in
the audience at Leonard Theatre, and rose early Saturday
morning to march from Peabody to McKee and back. You
starred, discussing Sheila Curran's novel Everyone
She Loved, bargain hunting in the Gift Shop, and bidding
on fabulous items in the Silent Auction. At the Celebration
Banquet, everyone was a star -- but none more so than Judy
Waldron, who was made an honorary alum and presented with
the 2011 Alumnae Service Award. Afterward, candles lit
Kumler Chapel to conclude the moving Service in Remembrance
of Dean Phyllis Hoyt. You were the stars at the Closing
Gathering in Kumler Chapel Sunday morning, and only after
the Farewell Brunch did Spotlight Western begin to dim on
Reunion 2011.
