Office of Equity and Equal Opportunity (OEEO)
This office serves staff, faculty, students, and administrators in providing information, consultation, training, and resources with regard to discrimination and harassment prevention, affirmative action, equal opportunity, and inclusion. This office can also investigate reports of harassment and discrimination.

Student Counseling Service (SCS), Oxford
Miami's Student Counseling Service provides individual and group counseling, consultation, psychiatric services, sexual assault support, and substance use treatment, among other services, in an effort to achieve and/or maintain a mentally healthy status for each student.

Student Counseling Service (SCS), Regionals
Miami's Regionals Student Counseling Service provides individual consultation, mental health counseling, veterans' support, suicide prevention and awareness, and career counseling among other services, in an effort to achieve and/or maintain a mentally healthy status for each student.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
This work-based program offers free and confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have personal and/or work-related problems.

Campus Safety

Sexual Assault and Interpersonal Violence
The University offers numerous resources to support students who experience sex-based offenses, including sexual assault, sexual misconduct, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. 

We encourage you to reach out to us so we can help you do the following: 1) provide connections to medical and mental health treatment, 2) help you report the offense to the police and inform you of how to pursue disciplinary action, 3) assist you with accessing academic and living support services, and 4) support you with emotional health and other needs.
