Faculty Fellows Kicks Off by Exploring Scholarship of Learning
Monday, August 24, marked the first collaborative session in the Fall 2020 Faculty Writing Fellows Program. We welcome a faculty team from the Havighurst Center for Russian & Post-Soviet Studies and a faculty team from the Department of Justice and Community Studies. It's a dynamic cohort motivated to innovate teaching and learning with and through writing in their disciplines.

Miami professor gives Chautauqua Institution lecture series commemorating women's suffrage
August 18, 2020 marked the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. To commemorate this date, Kimberly A. Hamlin has been conducting a discussion-oriented 3-part master class on the history of women's suffrage and women’s rights in the United States, hosted by the Chautauqua Institution.
