Colleges and Schools

College of Arts and Science

Become a critical thinker, an effective communicator, and a creative problem solver in one or a combination of our 60 majors, 9 co-majors, and dozens of minors. Areas of study in the College of Arts and Science (CAS) include the physical and natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and languages.

College of Creative Arts

Be ready to succeed and compete and create anywhere with the guidance of our fine-tuned, cross-disciplinary approach to art. Nationally accredited, the College of Creative Arts (CCA) combines classic art foundations and emerging tech to develop the artists and creative professionals who will design our future.

College of Education, Health, and Society

Built around hands-on experience, Miami’s College of Education, Health, and Society (EHS) programs equip you with holistic knowledge about the human experience to succeed and effect change. From education, social work, and public health to nutrition, kinesiology, and sports leadership, EHS alumni impact the world in unique and powerful ways.

College of Engineering and Computing

Working to improve the human condition through the products and systems we rely on is the mission of the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC). Study complex systems to build the infrastructures of tomorrow, both in the physical world and digital worlds. Our fields of study include biomedical engineering, automation and robotics and software engineering, among others.

Farmer School of Business

Earn a business degree at the school that prioritizes experiential learning, international study, and leadership development to prepare students for leadership in the workplace and in their communities. The Farmer School of Business (FBS) is composed of seven departments. Together, they offer eight disciplines and majors and a variety of minors and thematic sequences.

College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science

The College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science (CLAAS) currently offers 30+ forward-focused majors across Miami's Regional locations and online, plus pathways to 100+ majors that may be completed at the Oxford campus. Small class sizes, on-site child care, and flexible scheduling make Miami Regionals attractive to students at all stages of life and career.

Honors College

Working closely with committed faculty in small classes, Honors College students enjoy engaged learning experiences built around exploring and investigating unanswered questions. Just a few of the unique opportunities to create new knowledge include courses like Discovering Italian Opera, Engineering Economics, Cultural Diversity in the United States, and Introduction to Disability Studies.

Graduate School

Become an expert in your field of study. The Graduate School offers over 50 master's, 14 doctoral, and 19 certificate programs spanning a wide range of disciplines. Many programs are available fully online or in a hybrid format with both online and in-person classes. Miami's graduate students are a vibrant community of scholars in an environment with limitless opportunities.
