BUS 301 Macro Concepts in Contemporary Business (3) MPT

An introduction to the macro nature of the business environment. It is designed for students without academic preparation in business and who have majors outside the School of Business. Topics include the business environment, the history of commerce, corporate governance, business and public policy. Business processes including finance, accounting, operations, and supply chain management are also identified and placed in context. Two mandatory half day field trips are also included in this course which provide context for BUS 301, 302 and 303.

Prerequisite: enrollment in the Summer Business Institute and co-registration with BUS 302 and BUS 303.
