2-D Media Studies

(19 semester hours)

This minor allows students to creatively solve problems in two-dimensional space while using design concepts, materials, and processes in one or more of the following concentrations: Photography, Printmaking, and Painting. Majors in Art Education and History of Art and Architecture will find this minor a valuable opportunity to continue into the 400-level senior studios.

A minimum 2.5 g.p.a. is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser.
