Art and Architecture History
(24 semester hours)
A minor in art and architecture history establishes a foundation for further study in these areas and provides a better understanding of artistic and cultural forces that influenced the development of art forms through the ages. Knowledge in these areas is valuable for careers in studio art, art education, architectural design, historic preservation and restoration, museum curatorship, or administration and other related fields.
A minimum 2.0 g.p.a. is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser.
