Communication

The minor in communication offers students the opportunity to learn how human beings create meaning, develop relationships, achieve goals, and create community through human communication behavior. The role of communication in contexts such as interpersonal relationships, small groups, organizations, the public realm, and media is explored.

A minimum 2.0 g.p.a. is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser. This minor is selective and enrollment is limited.
