International Business

(21 semester hours)

Open only to business majors, this minor incorporates courses that provide an enhanced foundation for a career in international business. It includes international business courses, a language requirement, and electives from other disciplines that focus on international topics.

A minimum 2.0 g.p.a. is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). This minor does not satisfy the Thematic Sequence requirement of the Global Miami Plan. However, courses have been identified in the list of "Acceptable Elective Courses" for the International Business minor that either fully or partially satisfy a thematic sequence. Also, many students complete all or part of a thematic sequence as a component of study abroad. Students planning to take this minor should contact the office below as soon as possible.
