This minor provides exposure to literature and culture along with systematic language training in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Japanese language, culture, and relevant courses transferred from other institutions may be used to fulfill requirements. A minimum 2.0 g.p.a. is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser.
