Middle East and Islamic Studies

This minor offers students a firm interdisciplinary grounding in the cultures, religious systems, history, and politics of the Islamic World, with an emphasis on the modern Middle East.

A minimum 2.5 g.p.a. is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser.
