Tuesday, Jan. 15 Postmark deadline for submitting confirmation deposit to the Office of Admission (Early Decision applicants only).
Friday, Feb. 15 Priority deadline for new FAFSA applicants. A valid FAFSA is needed to consider you for need-based scholarships and financial aid awards. Miami's federal school code for the FAFSA is 003077.
late March You receive notification of financial aid award and/or scholarship award.
Wednesday, May 1 Deadline for submitting confirmation deposit to the Office of Admission (Early Action and Regular Decision applicants only)
Thursday, May 2 Postmark deadline for submitting your Residence Hall and Meal Plan Contract (students living on campus)
Friday, May 10 Deadline for submitting medical form to Student Health Services
Monday, May 13 You should complete math and foreign language placement tests as soon as possible after confirming enrollment but no later than this date.
Monday, May 20 If you already have health insurance coverage, you can waive the charge for which you are being billed by following instructions provided by Student Health Services. (If you do not waive the insurance, the premium is due in early August.)

You attend one of the day-and-a-half Orientation sessions, where you meet other new students and student leaders, connect with campus resources, learn about your academic curriculum, meet with an adviser and register for first semester courses. Submit a photo online at least 5 days prior to your Orientation session to allow for pick-up of your ID card at Orientation.
mid July If you've registered for classes by early July, you receive an electronic eBill from the Office of the Bursar for fall semester. Payment is due in early August.
late July Residential students receive their housing assignment, which includes local address (residence hall), arrival information, roommate information, and confirmation of meal plan selection.
