Senior Assistant Director for High-Ability Recruitment/
Junior Scholars Coordinator
English Literature, Creative Writing, Women's Studies
I graduated from Miami University in 2001 with a triple major in English Literature, Creative Writing, and Women’s Studies. One of the most meaningful experiences I had as an Honors student at Miami was the semester I spent studying abroad in Cambridge, England. I fell in love with the country, and with the help of my incredible professors at Miami, I was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to pursue graduate study at the University of Oxford. After earning my master's degree in English Renaissance Literature, I remained in England as a teacher, advisor, and service learning coordinator at The Portsmouth Grammar School. I love working with young adults, and I'm thrilled that my passion for education has led me back to my alma mater. It is an honor to help future students discover all that Miami has to offer!
Favorite Miami Moment
Walking across academic quad and hearing the Beta Bells chime fills me with wonderful memories of the years I spent living in Stoddard Hall as a part of the Scholar Leader community. The vibrant people with whom I shared those years remain my dearest, lifelong friends.
