About Me

Hello from northern Virginia! My name is Christa, and as a regional recruitment coordinator, I work with students, parents, and student support staff throughout Virginia, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, and eastern Pennsylvania. I am originally from New England, where I attended Boston University and began my admissions career path. Though I love the snow (and the Red Sox), I migrated south to the Washington, D.C. area several years ago and fell in love with the energy and diversity of this region. When I’m not sitting in traffic, I enjoy traveling, hiking, cycling, and cheering on both New England AND Washington, D.C. sports teams.

Why Miami

From my first moment on campus, I was struck by how friendly everyone was. Students, staff, and faculty all seem so happy to be at Miami—that feeling is magnetic and contagious! Combine that with our gorgeous campus and excellent academic experience, and it's hard to resist becoming a RedHawk.
