About Me

Hello and welcome to Miami University's website. My name is Diana Porter, and I am an admission counselor with a bachelor's degree in communication. As a native of Brownsville, Texas, I am a long way from home, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. The college search process can be stressful at times, but I am here to answer any questions you may have. I hope that you will visit us here in Oxford so that you can see first-hand our beautiful campus and meet our wonderful students, faculty, and staff. Favorite Miami Moment

I really enjoy attending sporting events, and hockey at Miami has been my ultimate favorite. We have an outstanding Ice Center, and our world renowned synchronized skating team has done a short show during half time. Seeing students cheering on their RedHawks along with faculty and staff gives you a great sense of one of the many things to do around campus.
