School of Creative Arts
Students pursuing the following majors are required to submit a portfolio and/or schedule an audition by the application deadline: architecture, interior design, art, art education, graphic design, music, music education, music performance, and theatre. Farmer School of Business
Students wishing to major in business must apply for
direct admission into the Farmer School of Business (FSB). No separate
application is required, but students must indicate business as their intended
major on the admission application. Students with questions regarding FSB direct admission are encouraged to speak with their admission counselor.
University Honors Program
Miami University's Honors Program provides a number of unique opportunities for high-ability students. Students who wish to be considered for admission to the Honors Program should complete the University Honors essay on the Miami Supplement to the Common Application.
Financial Aid
To apply for all need-based financial aid, including grants, select scholarships, loans, and the federal work study program, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For priority financial aid consideration, you must submit the FAFSA between January 1 and February 15. (Miami's institutional code is 003077.) Accepted students who file a FAFSA by February 15 will be notified of their financial aid package in late March.
