*This fee is waived for Veterans and Military Personnel. No fee waiver is necessary. - Midterm Report/Recommendation*
For students in their first term, we would like a mid-term report showing your current grades. If you have attended longer than one term you may choose to submit a mid-term report OR a letter of recommendation on your behalf by a college instructor who has taught you a full-credit college class. This recommendation can be in the form of a letter or the College Instructor Evaluation (PDF 168KB). The recommendation must be submitted directly from the instructor. Only one recommendation is required.
*If current circumstances make it difficult to fulfill this requirement, please contact our Transfer Coordinator. - Official High School Transcript
This is not required for applicants who graduated from high school before 1986. Transcripts must be submitted by the high school. Miami encourages high schools to submit documents electronically, and we currently accept electronic transcripts via Common Application online, eSCRIP-SAFE, and Docufide. For a complete list of required documents for home school applicants, please see Home School Curriculum. Faxed transcripts are not accepted. - ACT/SAT Scores
These scores may be included on your official high school transcript or sent directly from the testing center. You can request submission of these scores to Miami by contacting ACT or the College Board (SAT). Miami's ACT code is 3294; the SAT code is 1463. If you have been out of high school for more than five years or have already completed 20 or more transfer credits, test scores are not required. - Official Institutional Academic Transcript*
A transcript must be sent directly from each college/university you have attended since high school.
*Veterans and Military Personnel must submit documentation for alternative credit. (See Veterans Services).
