Students who are interested in being agents of change will want to explore EHS Leadership Scholars. This program guides students in building and sustaining healthy schools, communities, and families. EHS Leadership Scholars may take advantage of the following opportunities:

  • Direct entry into programs that typically require a pre-major.
  • Specialized advising sessions with a faculty mentor.
  • Access to a scholars-only seminar.
  • Guaranteed placement in an EHS Living-Learning Community.
  • Collaborate with a faculty mentor to conduct research or work as a teaching assistant.
  • Participate in a variety of EHS service projects that support local communities and build excellent leadership skills.

To be considered for the Education, Health and Society Leadership Scholars Program, you must first apply to Miami University via the Common Application and indicate interest in applying to the University Academic Scholars Program. You will then receive information regarding the UASP application process. For more information, visit the honors programs application process webpage.
