Hall Auditorium

This event allows participants to explore studying the arts at Miami—programs that include architecture, interior design, graphic design, visual art, music, theatre, interactive media studies, and arts management. Faculty, staff, and students from the College of Creative Arts programs will lead tours of facilities and talk with attendees about classes and unique opportunities in each program. Topics covered include internship opportunities, portfolio and audition requirements, as well as advice and career exploration.
20 Saturday Discover the Sciences
9:30 a.m.
Benton Hall

Discover the Sciences Day provides an inside look at Miami and our math and natural science programs! Take a tour of campus, explore the science laboratories, and meet with faculty and current Miami students to learn more about our programs. You will also have the opportunity to eat lunch in a dining hall and learn more about Miami's admission process and Honors programs throughout the day.

Shriver Center Multi-Purpose Room

This program provides an opportunity for high school students to experience life as a collegiate music major. The event, which includes tours of music facilities and the Miami campus, allows guests to visit classes and rehearsals appropriate to their areas of interest, take mini-lessons with the university's music faculty, and meet current Miami music students and hear them perform.
