Public Ice Skating
Gather your friends and family and head to the Goggin Ice Center for a public skating session! Great fun for all ages and experience levels and a perfect addition to a heart-healthy lifestyle. Figure or hockey skates may be worn and both are available for rent in infant size 6 to adult 14. Skate Aids are available for kids ages 9 and under. Our aids are designed to encourage proper skate motion and safety for our new skaters. Free Wi-Fi available.
Public Skating Rules
- You must have skates on to be on the ice
- Skaters 5 & under are required to wear a helmet and is suggested for all new skaters (bike helmets are perfect)
- Children may not be carried on the ice – Strollers are not permitted on the ice
- No jumping is allowed during public skating sessions
- Skaters 14 & under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Goggin Ice Center and Miami University is a smoke-free campus.

KidsSkate 
Monthly-themed KidsSkates are family-friendly events with fun, games, and prizes offering a discounted admission of $7.50 with FREE skate rental. Check the event calendar for special session dates and times.
Group Rate
Special pricing for all public skating sessions is available for groups of 15 or more. Discounted admission is $7.50 per skater. Groups are asked to arrive together and check in 30 minutes before the session's start time to ensure admission. Groups must schedule in advance at (513) 529-9800. Skate rental is available for $3.50 each.
Private Locker Room Rental
Need a room for your group’s special event during public sessions? Rooms accommodate up to 25 and a table is provided for your set-ups. Contact the rink for pricing and availability.
School Groups 
The Goggin offers a great way to incorporate ice activities into your Physical Education curriculum. Broomball or Ice Skating is the perfect group activity… give us a call to help plan your next outing.
Birthday Packages
Be the coolest parent around and schedule your child’s party during the Saturday or Sunday afternoon public sessions. Schedule early as these fill quickly! Visit the birthday parties page for additional information!

Moonlight Skate
Miami Student Skates on Saturday nights, 9:30-11:00 pm offers free admission with MU Student ID; Skate rental is available for $3.50 per person.
Special Theme Skates are offered throughout the year such as Zombie Skate, SuperHero, Ugly Sweater, and many others. Goggin' Moonlight Skates are a great friend zone and date night option following a Varsity Hockey game as well!
