Educational Resources

Please see Educational Resources to learn how you can take advantage of our Discovery Trunks, specimen loans, inquiry lessons, and more.

Bring your class to Robert A. Hefner Museum of Natural History! Our programs are FREE, and we welcome public, private, and homeschool educators. Our knowledgeable staff will guide your students as they explore our galleries and exhibits, participate in hands-on, inquiry-based activities, and experience the thrill of discovery as they take part in age-appropriate scavenger hunts. We have established programs for preK-12 students, or we can tailor a program to match your specific curriculum requirements. All programs and activities are connected to Ohio academic content standards.

To Schedule a Visit:

  1. Complete the Field Trip Reservation Form.
  2. Alternatively, you may contact us by phone at 513-529-4617.
  3. Your visit and program selection will be confirmed by email.

We strive to improve our programs and services and invite you to complete an Evaluation after your visit.
