SEA Online Graduate Certificate Admission

Certificate program applicants are required to have at least a bachelor's degree.  The application process is all online via the Graduate School application page.  

To apply for the Social Entrepreneurship & Aging Graduate Certificate:

  • Go to the Graduate School Application Menu.
  • First, “Create Your Account” and verify with the message sent to the email you specify.
  • Complete the required fields on the online application form.
  • You will be required to upload a transcript showing that you earned at least a bachelor’s degree. Feel free to submit an unofficial copy for the application review, provided the copy includes your name and the name of the college or university attended.
  • You may submit a brief personal statement describing your background and interest in the Social Entrepreneurship and Aging Certificate. (This is optional.)
  • When asked to which certificate program you are applying, start typing “Social Entrepreneurship and Aging” and the program will appear; click on that.
  • No graduate admissions tests (e.g., GRE, GMAT) are required for this application.
  • Select term applying for.
  • Pay the $20 application fee.
  • You will receive an email after submitting the application. You may go back to the Graduate School Application Menu to view the application and make updates if necessary.

After you receive notice of admission you will be able to register for the first course, GTY 601 New Frontiers in Aging.
