Robert Applebaum to speak at Health Policy of Ohio (HPIO) forum

Addressing the social drivers of healthy aging: Policy options to improve health and impact spending growth

The Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University projects that by 2020, 25 percent of the population in more than half of Ohio counties will be over the age of 60. As Ohio’s population continues to age, policymakers are faced with unique challenges.

This forum, a follow-up to a popular 2016 HPIO forum, will explore the aging policy landscape, supports for healthy aging, public and private payment models and social determinants of health for aging populations.
