Students receive awards

Support Student Awards

Student awards enable hardworking undergraduates to gain appreciative recognition for their hard work and academic achievement. They support dedication and reward achievement while encouraging stimulating projects in the future. Writing is one of the most prevalent sub-disciplines of anthropology; many of the awards are granted for writing accomplishments. For example, the Carole E. Kist Award Fund was established by longtime department administrative assistant upon her retirement. The fund subsidizes awards for superior student-written papers and encourages professional writing development in the anthropology field. Overall, the student awards commend dedication, cultivate skills, and foster creativity.

Make a tax-exempt donation to help recognize student achievement. There are two student award funds. Type CAROL E KIST FUND or RONALD AND JUDITH SPIELBAUER FUND in the comments box to contribute to this fund.
