Course Requirements

Pedagogy training

A seminar for incoming students, BIO 601

Minimum of three (3) graduate seminars, not including BIO 601

Minimum of three (3) formal courses for a minimum of nine (9) formal graduate class credits with at least one course in the Department of Biology

Six to 12 hours of BIO 700, minimum total of 30 semester hours of graduate credit

Additional seminars and courses as determined by the student and committee

Diagnostic Examinations

All MS students must present and defend a thesis proposal. All students must present and defend their thesis.
