The minor will fulfill the Miami Plan Thematic Sequence requirement.

You must complete a minimum of 18 semester hours in history with a 2.0 grade point average. These courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit).

You may select any two courses; they need not be in a sequence.

  • HST 111, 112 (3, 3), Survey of U.S. History
  • HST 121, 122 (3, 3), Western Civilization
  • HST 197, 198 (3, 3), World History

The remaining 12 semester hours must be history courses at the 200 level and above.
