Kate Welling Disability Studies Event
On April 5th Miami is hosting DJ Savarese for a screening of his documentary Deej with a question and answer session to follow. The documentary is about DJ, a young man with autism and his journey to college. The film advocates for inclusion and calls that inclusion shouldn't be a lottery.

Bearded Lady Project comes to Miami to shake up gender-based stereotypes of geoscientists
Beginning on March 29, the Department of Geology and Environmental Earth Science and the Karl E. Limper Geology Museum will be hosting an exhibit entitled, "The Bearded Lady Project: Challenging the Face of Science" in Shideler Hall. The exhibit, free and open to the public, runs through June 11
