Global Game Jam (GGJ)

For five years running, the Armstrong Institute for Interactive Media Studies (AIMS) at Miami University has hosted Ohio's first and largest site for the Global Game Jam. At each site, participants form small groups, develop ideas and build new, creative and innovative games. They then present them to their peers and the global community.

Participants age 16 and up are welcome. Registered participants will receive:

  • Access to multiple computer labs equipped with Microsoft XNA, Visual Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, XCode and Maya.
  • Meals and snacks for the event
  • Access to showers and "quiet rooms"
  • Membership in the International Global Game Jam
  • Access to AIMS Games faculty and other industry professionals
