Paper Science and Engineering Foundation
To reach and prepare liberally educated, articulated, and skilled engineers for leadership positions in the chemical, biochemical, environmental, pulp and paper and other industries. A major role will be to serve as a critical resource to inform society about the process related to production and use of chemicals, drugs, fuels, materials and paper. A central objective is to develop new knowledge about engineering and scientific fundamentals that focus on energy efficient manufacturing as well as sustainability and environmental management.
