Zane Shreve

Zane Shreve

Zane Shreve is from Redkey, a small town in rural Indiana. His interest in electrical engineering stemmed from his hobby of playing electric guitar, as he learned how to use analog electronics to repair his guitar and create his own amplifiers and effects pedals.

Zane was a four-year member of Miami's varsity track and field team; he competed in the decathlon. Outside of his classes at Miami, Zane was heavily engaged and impacted by his time in the Lockheed Martin Leadership Institute, as well as in IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu, an organization in which he served as president.

Zane is excited to begin the next chapter of his life by uprooting from the Midwest and moving to New York City, where he will work as a Controls Systems Engineer beginning this summer.

Zane owes much of his success in academics and in life to the love and support from his family, as well as from impactful and influential teachers at every step of his education.
