The College of Engineering and Computing and the Department of Music are co-sponsoring concert:nova, a chamber ensemble of musicians from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. These musicians will join internationally renowned artists for brilliant collaborations that blur musical genres.

Cellist Jeff Zeigler is one of the prominent guest artists. He is described by the New York Times as a player “with unforced simplicity and beauty of tone.” Zeigler has been the cellist of the internationally renowned Kronos Quartet for eight seasons. He currently collaborates with interdisciplinary and multimedia ensembles around the world.

Additionally, 2013 Pulitzer Prize winner in music, Caroline Shaw, will perform one of her vocal works.

The concert will take place on March 11th from 8-10 P.M. in Benton 102. The even is free and open to the public.
