Millhaems Give Back to CEC

Bill and Anne Millhaem in front of a GE90 engine on a Boeing 777 Bill ‘80 and Anne ‘83 Millhaem feel that Miami has given them more than just a quality education and the chance to be Mergers. They have recently made a $50,000 gift, which was then matched with another $50,000 by General Electric (GE) to create The Bill and Anne Millhaem Excellence in Engineering Scholarship. Bill, the product general manager for GE Aviation’s GE90, fully believes that his education at Miami provided him with a well-rounded set of skills that have made him so successful today.

The couple had talked about creating a scholarship but with the university’s Match the Promise it gave them the extra push. Bill, a past member of the CEC Advisory Board says he is pleased with the College’s direction. He also recognizes the importance and need for more engineering students.
