Coding Day at CEC

Miami student interacts with Talawanda students during a board game

Talawanda students were able to visit the College of Engineering and Computing last week to learn about coding in a fun, interactive environment.

Students were able to play different coding board games, with 'Robot Turtles' winning as the crowd favorite. Students then used an iPad to program a Sphero robot to navigate a maze designed by the college volunteers, and then designed their own maze afterwards to make it more challenging!

The student organization Kode 2 Learn partnered with the Electronics and Computing Service Scholars (EaCSS) to host these students and coordinate the event.

Both groups are thankful for the continued support of 84.51°, a data analytics company in Cincinnati.
