Serving in Mexico

Service, learning, and school credit: what more could you ask for out of a winter term experience? MME and CPB students traveled to Monterrey, Mexico, last week to serve the children of Back2Back Orphanage.

Students are learning and applying their skills in this international setting while also taking MME/CPB 341 (Engineering Economics) and EDT 225 (Family, School, and Community Connections.)

The trip is unique in that they are learning in a classroom setting on Oxford’s campus for the first and third week, and during the second week they will be abroad. The program is lead by Professor John Richter and Dr. Jim Shiveley.
