The OPA allows for graduating seniors to nominate a professor that has had an impact inside or outside the classroom. The students are able to recognize the professors that had been an important part of their Miami experience. Students had to submit a letter of recommendation that outlines why they believe their nominee should be considered for this award.

This year recommendations were due at the beginning of April, and the top nominees were recognized at the Associated Student Government Outstanding Professor Award (OPA) Banquet on April 15th. Morman and the other 11 faculty members were given a special certificate of their achievement for this award. This year there was a total of 65 faculty contenders, and we are proud that Morman’s hard work was able to be recognized.

We are proud of the hard work and dedication of our CEC faculty, and cannot wait to see the continued impact of our teachers on the education of our students.
