What value does value engineering deliver?

Value engineering provides visibility across all University technology capabilities, enabling IT Services to identify where existing components can be reused. It improves data stewardship by identifying all source systems of record for University data, eliminating the need to create and maintain duplicate repositories. Value engineering also supports the identification of capabilities approaching obsolesence.

Affinity maps

An affinity map takes the consolidated IT strategy map and searches for common themes. Those themes are then used to highlight areas of potential synergy.
