The Miami University Art Museum's opening reception for "200 at 200" will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3. The museum honors Miami's 200th year by showcasing more than 200 objects from its permanent collection.

The single transferable vote system is used in many Miami governance elections. While the voting system is complex, its goal is simple - to make as many people's votes count as equally as possible in electing someone.
