Kate Rousmaniere, professor and chair in Miami University's educational leadership department, was elected to a three-year term as president of the International Standing Conference for the History of Education (ISCHE) at the group's annual meeting on Aug. 28 in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Miami University's Scripps Gerontology Center will host a lecture by author Anne Basting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Knolls of Oxford Retirement Community auditorium on how to provide creative engagement to dementia patients.
