Katie Wilson appointed senior director of student engagement

Katie Wilson has joined Miami University as the senior director of student engagement, effective Aug. 20. She will supervise the staff, budget and services of the office of student activities and leadership and the Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.


Community auditions for "The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later," Sept. 3

Community auditions for the staged reading of "The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later" will be 5-10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, in Studio 88 of the Center for Performing Arts. Members of the Oxford and Miami communities are invited to audition.


University Senate action Aug. 31

On Monday, Aug. 31, University Senate heard reports from Provost Jeffrey Herbst, Sally Lloyd, chair, Executive Committee of University Senate. David Creamer, vice president for business and finance services, and Robin Parker, university general counsel, presented a proposed furlough policy for Senate's consideration.
