Graduate student receives marine policy fellowship

Carl Nim, a Miami University graduate student in the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES), received the National Sea Grant College Program Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Undergraduate research fair, USS poster session, today

An Undergraduate Research Information Fair and the Undergraduate Summer Scholars poster session will be held noon-2 p.m. today (Sept. 8) in Shriver Center.


Latin American and Caribbean Festival Sept. 11

Miami University's annual UniDiversity festival, celebrating Latin American and Caribbean culture, will be held 5:30-10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Uptown Parks in Oxford. Music, dance, food, crafts, children's activities and information booths featuring the peoples and cultures that are cumulatively emerging as the largest minority group in the U.S. are all part of the free festival.
