Miami University's Student Veteran Association (SVA) invites employees and students to a special ceremony honoring those who have served and currently serve the United States in the military. The ceremony will be held 4:30 Thursday, Nov. 10, in the Sesquicentennial Chapel. SVA is collecting photos to use during the ceremony.
Nilika Mehrotra, associate professor of anthropology at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, will present "Locating Gender and Disability within Women's and Disability Rights Discourses in India" at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, in 1 Upham Hall.
This Saturday, the Miami University synchronized skating teams are giving fans a sneak preview of the RedHawks' programs for the upcoming season. All three teams will be showcasing their programs in an exhibition at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Coach Cady Arena at the Goggin Ice Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Human trafficking activist training will be presented by the Salvation Army 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the office of community engagement and service, Hanna House.
