Miami to award 894 diplomas during fall commencement

Miami University will present 894 diplomas during its fall commencement ceremony at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at Millett Hall. President David Hodge will preside over the ceremony.

LaKeisha McClary, a postdoctoral fellow at Miami University, is one of 10 researchers nationwide selected as a 2011-2012 CADRE Fellow by the Community for Advancing Discovery Research in Education (CADRE).

Oxford Twp. trustees unanimously oppose annexing land to the city designated as the future site of the Miami Heritage Technology Park. The park aims to bring small businesses together to collaborate with Miami University on research and technology commercialization, according to the park's website.
