Search committee named for director of intercollegiate athletics position

Miami University President David Hodge has announced the members of the search committee who will identify and recruit an individual for the position of director of intercollegiate athletics. Provost Bobby Gempesaw will serve as chair.


"Flipzoids," theatre's SecondStage production, opens Oct. 24

"Flipzoids" by Ralph Pena, directed by theatre graduate student Ronica Jhena Arntzen, will be performed at 8 p.m. Oct. 24-27 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 and 28. The performance is in the department of theatre's SecondStage production at Studio 88 Theatre.

  • Film screening Oct. 18
    The film "Stand Up: Muslim Comics Come of Age" will be screened at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in 25 Farmer School of Business, part of the Muslims in America Film Festival sponsored by the Center for American and World Cultures. The film tells the story of five Muslim-American comedians and how they have come forward to help dismantle the stereotypes and hatred that have surged since 9/11.
