UCM releases new identification and standards manual

In collaboration with intercollegiate athletics, business services, and the logo review committee, the office of university communications and marketing (UCM) has developed a comprehensive Identification Standards Manual and Branding Guidelines for Miami University. It can be found online at MiamiOH.edu/UCM. Miami programs, departments and offices can begin using these new standards immediately.


Join the Born to Move Healthy Holiday Challenge

Everyone is "born to move" and stay active, but sometimes life gets in the way. Miami University Employee Wellness wants to kick-start a 9-week healthy holiday challenge beginning Wednesday, Oct. 31.


e-Text Summit to review e-textbook options for students

Miami University's first e-Text Summit will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on the third floor of Shriver Center. The Miami community is invited to drop by the vendor showcase in the Heritage Room or any of the presentations in the Bystrom-Reid Room.


"Doctors Without Borders and the Challenge of Global Action" Oct. 25

Peter Redfield, associate professor of anthropology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, will present "Doctors Without Borders and the Challenge of Global Action" at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Shriver Center Heritage Room.


Reminder: Open enrollment for benefits runs through Oct. 31

Miami's open enrollment period for health insurance benefits in 2013 runs now through 5 p.m. Oct. 31. Employees can access the open enrollment system through BannerWeb Employee Services Online and are encouraged to review their benefit elections and make changes as needed by 5 p.m. Oct. 31, 2012.
