"Latin America, Latinos and the U.S. 2012 Election" Panel discussion Oct. 31

A panel discussion on "Latin America, Latinos and the U.S. 2012 Election" will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in 212 MacMillan Hall. The discussion, moderated by Walt Vanderbush, associate professor of political science and interim director, Latin American, Latin/o and Caribbean studies program, is sponsored by the Passionate About Latina/o American and Caribbean series.


Leading expert in study of loneliness to speak Nov. 2

John T. Cacioppo, a central figure in founding the field of social neuroscience, will visit Miami University at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Taylor Auditorium, Farmer School of Business, to present the Elizabeth Burckhardt Distinguished Address, "Social Isolation."


2013 Benjamin Harrison Medallion nominations due Nov. 2
