Gillian Oakenfull, associate professor of marketing in Miami University's Farmer School of Business, has been selected as the 2012 Ohio Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). It is the only national program to recognize excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.
After upsetting Tennessee on Nov. 11, Miami University's women's soccer team now heads to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with Duke University at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in Charlottesville, Va.

Miami Convenient Care Clinic, a service of McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hosptial, will host an open house 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. The clinic is located in the Student Health Center, Campus Ave.
Miami University's IT services invites faculty and staff to information sessions about the email switch to Google. Sessions begin the week after Thanksgiving.
