Miami University will present 1,017 diplomas during its fall commencement ceremony at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in Millett Hall. President David Hodge will preside over the ceremony.

Prepare to migrate to Google email

Miami is partnering with Google to provide faculty and staff Google Apps for Education, including Gmail to manage email accounts, Google Calendar and Contacts, plus a range of other Google tools. There are some small tasks that you will want to do to prepare for the migrate.


Men's basketball hosts McFamily and Friends Days

Three Miami University men's basketball games have been tabbed McFamily and Friends Days at Millett Hall with an exciting ticket package which includes four RedHawk men's basketball game tickets to one of the designated games and four McDonald's Extra Value Meal vouchers for just $44.

Miami sophomore Elaysha Wright is quoted in a feature about the Skyline Community Center in Colerain losing funding and closing at the end of the month. Wright, a world-champion double Dutch jump-roper, is coach of one of the centers world-champion teams.

  • Miami discount
    Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum is offering a two-day discount for Miami University students, alumni, faculty and staff to see the Holiday Lights on the Hill show from 6-9 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 13, and 6-10 p.m. Fri., Dec. 14. Admission will be $10 per carload on Thurs., Dec. 13, and $15 per carload on Fri., Dec. 14. The park is located at 1763 Hamilton-Cleves Road (Ohio 128). The holiday lights show is open to the public from Nov. 22 through Jan. 1, 2013.
