Miami University has been awarded $81,000 by the Ohio Board of Regents to increase the number and degree areas of co-ops and internships available to regional campus students. Computer information Technology (CIT) and engineering technology will be the focus areas, although students in all degree programs are eligible for co-op and internship opportunities.

This time of year, the stories come in more frequently for Janie Hunt in Miami University's office of annual giving as alumni, parents and friends of Miami University call in with their gifts and donations to meet the Dec. 31 deadline.
Seventy-seven law schools nationwide registered to meet with Miami University's pre-law students at the annual Law Day Fair this fall - nearly double from last year's 42 law schools.

Alumnus Brandon Soale has released a book containing first-hand accounts of airmen from World War II and says his interests shifted to that war when he was a senior at Miami and assigned to interview a WWII veteran for a class project.
